Watch Music Videos For Nice Entertainment

Young people today have so many ways to spend their free time, it could be overwhelming. When I was younger I devoted most of my time with my friends, and I was always making time to look at music videos. Really, most of my time spent with friends was dedicated to MTV. If we weren't watching the station we were talking about what we watch or what we wanted to watch next. Now that I'm older I can't believe I lost so much time, but then again, it made me happy so I believe it was important. Anyhow, at that time in my life I could not envisage not watching MTV all the time, and now I could not tell you where it is on schedule.

My friends and I were watching music videos so often that we were able to tell you every tiny thing that we watched in the video. This was the age of the eighties hair groups, and there was always one guy in every group that we were madly in love with, though it was hardly ever the same guy for each of us. We could watch music videos far into the night, and could eagerly await a new release. Thinking back, I realize there are worse things I could have been doing with my time.

Though I do not watch music videos on MTV any longer, my husband turns on some videos on occasion. We might watch some new stuff, and we also watch music videos from when we were teenagers. It's almost embarrassing to watch them now, as I remember how nutty I was about it. I look at the band members that I thought were so attractive back then, and I do not comprehend what I saw in them. I don't watch music videos any longer, but if they are on and something good comes on I don't mind going down memory lane.

For the teenagers of today, there exist many more methods to watch music videos. MTV is still there, even though I think it is a joke any more. It is almost a parody of itself. If you are tired of the MTV programming like I am, you can find another great place to watch music videos. Many singers now put their videos up on Internet to be watched there. They do this for promotional purposes, just like the reasons they are played on television music stations. So it seems there is a time for everything in life. Enjoy the moment.
